Article 1
Purpose. This Decision stipulates principles, regulations, and measures for the management, tracking, and monitoring of telephone number services and usage to ensure effectiveness and efficiency, aiming to promote the correct use of telephone numbers in accordance with regulations, safeguard social order and tranquility, and contribute to national construction and development.
Article 2
Telephone number management. Telephone number management refers to the management, allocation, tracking, and monitoring of the use of various types of telephone numbers, such as: country codes, provincial codes, network codes, special telephone numbers, mobile telephone numbers, wired fixed telephone numbers, wireless fixed telephone numbers, and other categories of codes and telephone numbers, to ensure compliance with the telecommunications number allocation plan formulated by the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Communications in each period within the territory of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
