Article 1
Purpose. This Agreement stipulates the principles, regulations, and measures for the management, tracking, and inspection of preliminary field data collection, serving as a reference basis for applying to the government for permission for exploration investment or mineral prospecting, aiming to ensure uniformity in organization and implementation, and to contribute to national socio-economic development, promote economic growth, and improve the lives of the multi-ethnic people of Laos.
Article 2
Preliminary Field Data Collection. Preliminary field data collection refers to the study of mineral showings, geological structures, mineral distribution, and the overall condition of areas approved for preliminary field data collection, serving as submitted materials for applying for exploration investment or mineral prospecting permits.
Article 3
Scope of Application. This agreement applies to state agencies, state-owned enterprises, and domestic and foreign legal persons applying for permits for exploration investment or mineral prospecting.
