Article 1

Article 1 (Amended) Purpose
This Law prescribes principles, regulations, and measures concerning the supervision, management, and follow-up inspection of securities business activities, in order to make such activities efficient, transparent, and fair, reduce risks to the financial system, encourage the participation of individuals, legal persons, and organizations, aiming for the continuous and stable expansion of financing, investment, and securities market development, capable of connecting with the region and internationally, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.

Article 2

Article 2 (Amendment) Securities
Securities are financial instruments, including shares, bonds, government bonds, investment units, derivatives, and other categories of securities as prescribed by the Securities Commission; holders shall have corresponding rights and interests in accordance with the characteristics of each type of security.
