Article 1
Purpose. This guideline aims to direct and explain the procedures for applying for permits for mineral prospecting and exploration, serving as a manual for management, supervision, inspection, and facilitation for investors engaged in mineral prospecting and exploration in the Lao People's Democratic Republic, in order to ensure that the management of mineral resources and prospecting and exploration activities are standardized, compliant, technically sound, transparent, and productive, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
Article 2
Investment in mineral prospecting and exploration. Investment in mineral prospecting and exploration refers to the investment of tangible and intangible funds and assets into mineral prospecting and exploration activities within areas licensed by the government, and must comply with the Law on Investment Promotion, the Mineral Law, and other relevant regulations.
Article 3
