Article 1
Purpose. This Decision is formulated to serve as a technical tool for the evaluation, grouping and conversion of mineral resources, conversion of mineral resource quantity types, conversion of mineral resource quantity grades, and mineral reserves; for the conversion of deposit types used in exploration, and mineral exploration techniques.
Article 2
Grade Conversion of Mineral Resource Quantities and Mineral Reserves. The grade conversion of mineral resource quantities and mineral reserves refers to the requirements for mineral exploration techniques to obtain data that can be used to evaluate and convert the grade of mineral reserves obtained from mineral exploration.
Article 3
Scope of Application. This Decision applies to state organizations, educational institutions, international organizations, state-owned enterprises engaged in research and management of mineral resources, and legal persons engaged in mineral operations.
