Guidelines on Implementation of Directive No. 09/PM, dated July 2, 2018, on Strengthening Management of Land Concessions for Industrial Timber Plantations and Various Crops

Article 1

1. Guide the implementation of the contents of Directive No. 09/Prime Ministerial Order dated July 2, 2018, i.e., "On Strengthening the Management of Concession Land Use for Industrial Timber Forests and Various Crops," to create unified awareness and understanding across the national agriculture and forestry system;
2. Ensure that the agriculture and forestry sector takes the lead in coordinating and cooperating with central and local ministries, sectors, and relevant local administrative agencies from provinces, cities, districts down to villages, to implement the above directive with a high sense of responsibility, ensuring that the management of concession land use for industrial timber forests, bananas, and other cash crops strictly complies with laws and relevant regulations;
3. Clearly and specifically delineate the responsibilities of central and local authorities in promoting, supporting, managing, monitoring, and inspecting investments in industrial timber forests, bananas, and other cash crops, with a focus on ensuring economic and social benefits and efficiency, aligned with green and sustainable development directions.
