Article 1 Purpose
This Law defines principles, regulations, and measures concerning the management, supervision, and inspection of railway work, so as to render the organization and implementation of the aforesaid work efficient, effective, modern, sustainable, and environmentally friendly, aiming to ensure that railway operations and railway transportation are convenient, smooth, rapid, orderly, standardized, and safe, capable of connecting and linking with the region and internationally, and contributing to the national defense-security work and socio-economic development.
