Summary
This decree stipulates principles, regulations, and measures for occupational safety and health work, clarifying rights and obligations of workers and employers, prevention and control of hazardous factors, prevention and assistance for work-related injuries and occupational diseases, the National Center for Occupational Safety and Health and service units, income, prohibitions, safety and health committees, tripartite bodies, inspection, policies for meritorious persons, and measures against violators. It takes effect 15 days after signing and publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 1
Purpose. This Law stipulates principles, regulations, and measures concerning labor safety and labor health work to prevent potential work-related injuries and occupational diseases, create a good environment without health risks, promote decent and fair work, and enhance production quality. It aims to protect the rights and interests of workers and employers, continuously improve workers’ living conditions, align with regional and international standards, and contribute to promoting investment and national socio-economic development.
Article 2
Labor Safety and Labor Health. Labor safety and labor health are joint activities between employers and workers aimed at ensuring safety and health in the workplace, including risk assessment of working environment conditions, appropriate measures to reduce hazards and risks, methods for preventing occupational injuries, prevention of injuries and occupational diseases, and the gradual cultivation of a safety culture in the workplace.
