Objectives. Article 3
Definition of terms. 1. Folk medicine: refers to medicines derived from plants, trees, animals, and minerals, or from parts of plants, trees, and animals, which have been processed, packaged, and labeled. Their nature and potency of efficacy have been proven, or have not yet been proven by modern science, but must be recognized by the Ministry of Health. 2. Germplasm (animal and plant resources): refers to various plant varieties and various animal species existing in nature. 3. Biodiversity: refers to the diversity of ecosystems, species, and biological varieties in a given natural environment, such as: plants, animals, insects, and microorganisms. 4. Ecology: refers to the chain of positive and negative interrelationships between living and non-living objects in nature. 5. Medicinal natural resources: refers to germplasm or certain substances from natural sources that can be used as raw materials for the production of medicines. 6. Folk medicine protection garden: refers to a protected area for medicinal folk medicine natural resources, used for conservation, for research on medicinal folk medicine natural resources for the prevention and treatment of diseases, officially permitted and announced, and assigned to a state organization responsible for protection and development to achieve sustainable use.
