Article 1
Purpose. This Agreement stipulates the principles, regulations, and measures concerning the management of wireless communication frequencies used for communication in the form of Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) within Internet of Things (IoT) communications, with the aim of achieving nationwide uniformity, maximum efficiency, and effectiveness, and to ensure the stability, security, and order of society, thereby contributing to the defense and construction and development of the country.
Article 2
Wireless communication frequencies for Internet of Things (IoT) communications. IoT refers to a communication network composed of devices, vehicles, and various items that are equipped with electronic circuits, software, sensors, etc., enabling the collection and exchange of data through the internet network. Wireless communication frequencies for IoT communications refer to wireless communication frequencies within the frequency band of short-range wireless communication devices, used for communication between IoT devices and base stations to receive, transmit, or transceive signals, data, information, text, etc.
Article 3
Definition of Terms. The terms used in this Agreement shall have the following meanings: 1. International Telecommunication Union (ITU): refers to the international organization responsible for international convention work in the management and standardization of telecommunications; 2. Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN): refers to wireless communication frequency communication between IoT devices and a base station over a wide area with a low data transmission rate; 3. IoT Device: refers to a wireless communication frequency device capable of accessing the Internet through Short Range communication systems, LPWAN systems, and Cellular systems, and may be commanded, controlled, and measured via the Internet network; 4. Wireless Communication Frequency Device: refers to a device that uses wireless communication frequencies to receive, transmit, or transceive signals, data information, text, sound, and images; 5. Base Station: refers to a wireless communication frequency station equipped with wireless communication frequency receiving, transmitting, or transceiving equipment, such as fixed wireless communication frequency stations and mobile wireless communication frequency stations.
