Article 1

Purpose. This Decision, in accordance with Article 80 of the Law on Combating Computer Cybercrime, prescribes penalty measures for offenders involved in acts such as deleting computer data, providing incorrect computer data, failing to provide computer data, and obstructing and failing to cooperate with police law enforcement personnel during investigation and interrogation for the punishment of violators, aiming to ensure social peace and justice, and to contribute to the construction and development of the economy and society.

Article 2

Fines for violators of computer network crimes. Fines for violators of computer network crimes refer to the administrative fine amounts determined for individuals, legal persons, or organizations that violate Article 80 of the Law on Combating Computer Network Crimes.

Article 3

Definition of Terms. The terms used in this Decision shall have the following meanings: 1. “Crime” refers to unlawful acts as defined by the Penal Code and other laws prescribing criminal penalties; 2. “Computer system” refers to electronic devices or groups of computer devices that operate by executing commands, instruction sets, or other interconnections, enabling such devices or groups to automatically perform data processing functions on one or more computers, such as personal computers, server systems, communication devices interconnected via computer networks and the Internet; 3. “Computer data” refers to data, text, programs, database systems, personal data, computer system traffic data, and other data that can be processed to enable the operation of a computer system; 4. “Personal data” refers to data that directly or indirectly relates to or indicates the characteristics, identity, or activities of an individual, legal person, or organization; 5. “Server system” refers to a system that provides services through a computer system, including database servers, web servers, mail servers, and file servers.
