Article 1
Purpose. — To protect and promote the fine cultural and customary traditions of the Lao people, particularly those with distinctive characteristics, as well as the virtues, etiquette, and gentle demeanor of Lao women. — To publicize, promote, and enhance the role, capabilities, courage, and expressiveness of Lao women in Champasak Province on the local social stage, progressing toward national, regional, and international levels in the future. — To standardize criteria and provide a basis for all sectors within the province regarding the standards and conditions for the selection, evaluation, management, and activities of Miss Champasak.
Article 2
Title of Miss Champasak. A total of 07 women (from 1st to 7th place) who pass the final competition shall be called: Miss Champasak.
Article 3
Selection Criteria for Miss Champasak. Candidates for the Miss Champasak competition must meet the following criteria: — Hold Lao nationality; — Be naturally female; — Height of 160 centimeters or above; — Age between 18 and 25 years; — Have not previously won a prize at the provincial or national level; — Possess good character and appearance, knowledge and ability, and good interpersonal relationships; — Be single and have never been married; — Have a clean record and engage in a lawful occupation; — Be in good health and have never undergone cosmetic surgery (no surgical procedures); — Place of birth and household registration must be in Champasak Province.
