Article 1

Subject: Notification on Organizing the Implementation of Central Decrees, Resolutions, and Instructions on Entry-Exit Inspection and Management of Lao and Foreign Nationals (Applicable to Bolikhamxay Province).

Pursuant to: Prime Minister’s Decree No. 136/PM, dated May 25, 2009, on the Management of Entry into and Exit from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Management of Foreigners.
Pursuant to: Government Resolution No. 03/G, dated March 16, 2011, on Directions and Measures for Addressing Issues Concerning Foreigners Entering the Lao People’s Democratic Republic for Business and Employment Purposes.
Pursuant to: Minister of Public Security’s Instruction Notice No. 578/PS, dated July 7, 2008, on the Implementation of the National Conference on Entry-Exit Inspection and Foreigner Management.

The Governor of Bolikhamxay Province issues the following instruction notice:

Article 2

The general principles for Lao citizens and foreigners entering and exiting the Lao People's Democratic Republic shall comply with the following principles:

All Lao citizens traveling abroad must possess valid travel documents in accordance with regulations, namely: a passport, a pass (border crossing booklet), or a pass (border crossing permit).
