Articles
Article 1
All districts, departments, and administrative authorities at all levels are required to increase attention and diligently fulfill their duties, scope of authority, and responsibilities to correctly comply with the laws and regulations related to forestry management, timber harvesting, timber transport, and timber business.
Article 2
The export of logs, slab timber, reshaped timber, thin boards, tree roots or stumps, tree stumps, burls, branches, standing trees or ornamental trees, and other timber harvested from natural forests shall be prohibited in all cases without exception, including timber previously approved by the government but not yet implemented; export is permitted only after processing into finished products in accordance with the standards issued by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Agreement No. 2005/ອຄ.ກອກ dated September 28, 2015.
Article 3
It is prohibited to transit timber and non-timber forest products that do not comply with laws and regulations through foreign countries for onward transport to a third country.
