Articles
Article 1
The Government of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and Lao-China Gem Development Co., Ltd. have officially signed a contract on February 24, 2016, concerning the survey, extraction, and processing of Pakoday marble in the Phu Hong area, Phouvong District, Attapeu Province.
Article 2
It is absolutely prohibited for individuals, legal entities, traders, or domestic and foreign merchants who have not obtained government permission to incite or mobilize the public to go up into the mountains to the Phou Kham Hong Special Concession Area and the Houay Larn Zet area or other areas to illegally mine Pagoda marble, or to engage in activities of extracting, transporting, buying, or selling Pagoda marble in Attapeu Province.
Article 3
Any act of inciting the public to go up the mountains to illegally mine Pagodai marble within the Phou Kham Special Concession Area shall be stopped and completely eliminated; any individual or legal entity that violates this shall be dealt with strictly in accordance with the laws of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
