Articles
Article 1
The Provincial Tourism Fund Management Committee, appointed by the Provincial Governor, is tasked with studying, consulting, formulating plans, and organizing implementation to carry out this directive in detail and concretely; and assigning relevant industry professionals to be stationed at border checkpoints to lawfully and properly manage the collection of the aforementioned tourism fund obligation fees, ensuring compliance.
Article 2
Assign the Provincial Department of Information, Culture and Tourism to promote and publicize tourism content domestically and internationally through multi-level, multi-form, and diversified methods, in order to attract an increasing number of tourists to the country, especially to Xieng Khouang Province.
Article 3
When Lao citizens, foreign residents, or foreigners enter or exit through the Nam Kan International Border Checkpoint, they must first present all relevant documents to the immigration police (immigration control) stationed at the checkpoint for declaration and inspection. Subsequently, they must report to the tourism fee collectors or tax officers stationed at the checkpoint to pay the contribution to the tourism fund.
