Articles
Article 1
Assign the Directors of Departments and Bureaus, provincial-level agencies, the two Military and Public Security Commands, District Chiefs, heads of relevant district-level departments, all administrative agencies, and timber business entities to further emphasize and strictly fulfill the duties, powers, and responsibilities prescribed by laws and regulations, particularly those concerning forestry management and inspection, timber use, timber harvesting, timber transportation, and timber business operations.
Article 2
Under all circumstances, absolutely cease the export of logs, squared timber, processed timber, sawn timber, tree roots, branches, standing trees, or ornamental trees harvested from natural forests, including timber previously approved by the government but not yet executed; timber must be processed into finished products conforming to the standards issued by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (pursuant to Decision No. 2005/ອດ.ກອຫ, dated September 28, 2015, concerning wood products) before export may be approved.
Article 3
The importation from abroad of any timber and forest by-products that do not comply with regulations and laws for transit through Bokeo Province to third countries (03) is prohibited.
