Articles
Article 1
Assign the ministries, relevant sectors, and local authorities at all levels to further emphasize and strengthen their sense of responsibility in performing their duties, and to correctly perform their functions, powers, and responsibilities in accordance with the law, especially with regard to laws and regulations related to forest management, timber harvesting, timber transportation, and timber trading.
Article 2
The export of logs, squared timber, planks, sawn timber, tree roots or stumps, tree stumps, burls, branches, and unprocessed or semi-processed timber from natural forests to foreign countries is prohibited; strictly prohibited in all cases, including timber that the government has approved but has not yet been harvested; export is permitted only after processing into finished products meeting the standards set by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (pursuant to Agreement No. 2005/ອຄ.ກອທ dated September 28, 2015).
Article 3
It is prohibited to transit foreign timber and forest products that do not comply with laws and regulations for re-export to third countries.
