Articles
Article 1
All ministries, ministry-level agencies, provinces, the capital, and all relevant entities are tasked with further emphasizing the strict implementation of the Notarization (Deed Registration) Law and various regulations concerning notarization work, regarding respect for and enforcement of the Notarization (Deed Registration) Law as an important process in building a just and civilized Lao society, and making significant contributions to the nation's construction and socio-economic development in line with the Party and State's guidelines.
Article 2
All ministries, ministry-level agencies, provinces, capitals, and all relevant sectors, including public and private entities and all citizens, are tasked with unified understanding and implementation: All types of contracts and documents stipulated in Article 9 of the Law on Notarization (Deed Registration) shall be considered authentic, compliant, and legally valid contracts or documents only after their authenticity has been confirmed by a notarial authority. For contracts or documents that have not yet been confirmed by a notarial authority, relevant state agencies shall guide individuals, legal persons, or organizations to first have their authenticity confirmed by a competent notarial authority.
Article 3
When individuals, legal entities, and organizations submit contracts or various documents to notarial offices for legal authenticity verification, they must pay fees and service charges in accordance with the Notarization (Deed Registration) Law and the decrees issued by the President at each stage.
