Articles
Article 1
Assign all provincial-level departments and heads of equivalent-level agencies, in matters involving the activities of foreigners within the territory of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, to provide collaboration and facilitate all aspects in accordance with their respective departmental duties.
Article 2
Assign the district chiefs (10 districts) to organize the dissemination of the Prime Minister's Order No. 62/PM (dated November 13, 2015) on Facilitation and Cooperation for the Registration and Issuance of Temporary Permits for Foreigners, and to convey it to the local labor and social welfare departments and public security departments for implementation according to the established plan; at the same time, issue directive orders to all ethnic groups, organizations within the district, special economic zones, and specialized economic zones, requiring them to participate in rectifying the aforementioned issues with a high sense of responsibility.
Article 3
Direct the village-level government organs and the economic zone management committees to take proactive responsibility for disseminating relevant documents, regulations, and the purposes of rectifying the issue to the public, foreigners residing temporarily or operating within their jurisdiction, and to supervise and track the relevant personnel; at the same time, perform inspection and tracking duties, urging foreigners who have obtained temporary activity permits to adjust their status and settle accounts for withdrawal. For those who fail to apply for temporary activity permits and for new entrants, they shall be dealt with in accordance with laws and regulations. If, after the conclusion of this rectification period, foreigners engaged in illegal activities are still found in any location, that location shall strictly bear legal liability.
