Article 1
Hereby instruct the aforementioned individuals, legal entities, and organizations of all departments that use or possess various types of vehicles (such as: motorcycles, cars, pickup trucks, jeeps, transport vehicles, motorized tractors, vehicles with government license plates, enterprise plates, 1% plates, temporary plates, Lao private yellow plates, etc.) but have not yet paid customs duties and other obligations in accordance with laws and regulations (whether declared or not), to proceed to the Provincial Department of Public Works and Transport, contact the Provincial Committee for the Rectification of Illegally Imported Vehicles, permanently stationed at the Xieng Khouang Province Customs Inspection Bureau (located within the Provincial Finance Department building), to handle the matter, effective from August 25, 2015; or to handle it at the districts where the Rectification Committee conducts outreach visits.
Article 2
For corrective measures concerning the use of non-compliant vehicles in each case, they must be strictly implemented in accordance with the contents of the Notification of the Ministry of Finance, No. 2070/Finance, dated June 25, 2015.
Article 3
Assign the Provincial Committee for Combating Illegally Imported Vehicles, appointed under the Provincial Governor’s Decision No. 147/Provincial Office-Chuan dated February 23, 2015, to study and unanimously decide on practical implementation in each district, so as to facilitate vehicle users or owners in correctly completing registration and obtaining license plates after fully paying customs duties and other obligations.
