Livestock farming refers to the introduction of animals into a suitable place for rearing, managing, protecting, and utilizing animal breeds, managing the animals' habitats and living environments, providing good feed, water, and health care, without causing negative impacts on the environment, so as to make animals physically strong, grow well, and produce more, aiming to ensure the satisfaction of domestic consumer demand and as export commodities.

Article 3: Veterinary Medicine (Amended)
Veterinary medicine refers to the application of medical science concerning animals to the maintenance of animal health, primarily including health checks, disease diagnosis, and treatment of livestock, aquatic animals, and wildlife; the prevention and control of animal diseases transmissible among animals, including zoonotic diseases; animal welfare; inspection of food quality and safety along the animal production chain to protect consumers; the sale and use of animal-related products and goods; and the management of the livestock and veterinary professions.
