Articles
Article 1
Assign the Luang Prabang Provincial Department of Agriculture and Forestry to instruct district agriculture and forestry offices, border checkpoints, and district planting business units to strictly manage and inspect the import of fertilizers, plant seedlings, and pesticides (especially herbicides) from foreign countries into the region in accordance with technical regulations and rules, and to coordinate with relevant departments, including the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Second Region Customs Office, the Security and Defense Command, and the Department of Health, to form a steering committee and working committee for follow-up inspections.
Article 2
Domestic and international development project entities, business entities, and operators are not permitted to import fertilizers, plant seeds, and pesticides, especially herbicides, that have not undergone technical registration in accordance with the laws of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
Article 3
Specialized shops for selling fertilizers, seedlings, and pesticides shall be established, and they shall not be mixed with other consumer goods and daily necessities.
