Articles
Article 1
The provincial public health department is tasked with promptly directing county public health offices, health centers, and village administrative authorities to formulate emergency response plans for dengue fever epidemic prevention and control from the source; ensuring that guidance work is implemented in place, and improving relevant professional units for inspection and monitoring, vector control, surveillance and rapid response, publicity, and diagnosis and treatment management; making emergency preparations at the provincial, county, and village public health levels, and tracking the epidemic situation regularly from the date of receiving this order.
Article 2
The district governors and the provincial infectious disease prevention and control committee are assigned to guide administrative authorities at all levels, development village groups, and villages to provide convenience, mobilize the masses to carry out environmental sanitation improvement, clean homes and villages, and eliminate dengue fever mosquito breeding sites to prevent the occurrence of dengue fever outbreaks; wherever outbreaks occur in districts or villages, efforts must be concentrated to handle them promptly, without allowing the outbreak to delay and spread to a wide area; dengue fever prevention and control work must be regarded as a key priority for the provincial and district leadership teams, and meetings to summarize experience and prepare for emergencies shall be convened regularly.
Article 3
The Provincial Department of Education and Sports is assigned to guide all schools in Vientiane Province to formulate dengue fever prevention and control plans within schools, particularly by regularly conducting activities to eliminate breeding grounds of dengue fever mosquitoes on campus each week.
