Articles
Article 1
The establishment of lottery operations aims to raise funds from society, promote national development by creating an atmosphere for public participation in lottery and gambling activities, and on the other hand, to eliminate various gambling activities that violate regulations and laws.
Article 2
Persons authorized to operate lottery businesses shall give priority to war veterans, retired persons, disabled persons, and vulnerable groups in undertaking the sale of lottery products, provided that such persons have the willingness, meet the conditions, and have the ability to sell in accordance with the established regulations concerning the management of lottery businesses.
Article 3
The Ministry of Finance shall be responsible for lottery operations and all types of similar lottery-related businesses, including approving the printing of various lottery tickets, selling various lottery tickets, determining the types of lotteries and lottery prizes, determining the commission rates for lottery sales, and establishing the Lottery Issuance and Management Committee.
