Articles
Article 1
Purpose: This agreement stipulates the establishment application fees, annual management fees, and the payment of fees and management fees for commercial banks and branches of foreign commercial banks that apply for establishment and operate in the Lao People's Democratic Republic, to serve as a basis for unified implementation across the entire banking system.
Article 2
Establishment Application Processing Fee: The Bank of the Lao PDR shall charge the following establishment application processing fees from commercial banks, branches of foreign commercial banks, and branches of domestic commercial banks for their expansion applications:
— Commercial bank (head office): 80,000,000 Kip;
— Branch of a foreign commercial bank: 60,000,000 Kip;
— Branch of a domestic commercial bank: 20,000,000 Kip.

Article 3
Permanent Establishment License Fee: Upon obtaining a permanent establishment license, the Bank of the Lao PDR shall charge fees to commercial banks and branches of foreign commercial banks as follows: — Commercial bank (head office): 20,000,000 Kip; — Branch of foreign commercial bank: 10,000,000 Kip; — Branch of domestic commercial bank: 10,000,000 Kip.
