Articles
Article 1
The Institute of Agriculture and Forestry shall closely and systematically coordinate with the Department of Agricultural Extension to organize training and demonstrations for professional and technical personnel of the Agriculture and Forestry Offices of provinces, Vientiane Capital, and special zones. At the same time, prepare trial and demonstration sites, and study several necessary potential conditions, in order to organize the implementation of the application of the above technologies in production during the 2005-2006 production year, achieving the targets as planned; with a focus on production areas that already have foreign project budgets and financial support.
Article 2
The Agriculture and Forestry Offices of provinces, Vientiane Capital, and special zones nationwide shall organize the dissemination of concepts and practical methods for the application of ecological agricultural technology to extension personnel of county-level agriculture and forestry agencies, so that they can effectively organize and take the lead in applying the aforementioned technologies in practice, achieving good results and expanding their application over a wide area. The aforementioned materials were printed and completed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on April 27, 2005, under the title "Ecological Agricultural Technology – A Path to Sustainable Agriculture," along with other supplementary materials available for reference.
Article 3
The agriculture and forestry offices of the provinces, Vientiane Capital, and special zones shall provide detailed guidance to permanent extension personnel in each district, conduct publicity and demonstrations, and organize study visits for technical personnel and farmers in areas where the aforementioned ecological agricultural technologies have been tested and applied, enabling them to gain in-depth understanding and apply them in actual production.
