Article 1
Purpose. This Agreement aims to prescribe the procedures for applying for permits for the import and sale of gas in the Lao People's Democratic Republic. This Agreement is not intended for the purpose of restricting import quantities, but rather for collecting statistical data on gas imports through an automatic import license issuance system.
Article 2
Definition of Terms. In this Agreement, “Gas” refers to all types of gas, including household gas and industrial gas, namely gases classified under Heading 2711 of the Customs Tariff of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
Article 3
Scope of Application. This Agreement applies to the import and sale of gas within the territory of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
