Article 1
Purpose. The purpose of promulgating this Agreement is to stipulate the principles, standards, and management requirements for factory boilers, including: site selection, construction, installation, technical, technology, maintenance, safety, and environment, to ensure no impact on the environment and society.
Article 2
Definitions of Terms. 1. Factory: refers to processing industry and handicraft factories. 2. Boiler: refers to a closed container holding water, which, when heated by heat from fuel combustion, causes the water to change properties and transform into steam, having a pressure different from atmospheric pressure. 3. Boiler power: refers to the steam inside the boiler used for work, with a working capacity greater than 1,055 kilograms per square centimeter or 15 pounds per square inch (psi). 4. Hot water boiler: refers to water heated by combustion, used to transfer heat to heat exchange equipment, with the liquid circulating continuously to absorb and transfer heat. 5. Low pressure boiler: refers to a boiler with a total steam pressure not exceeding 1,055 kilograms per square centimeter, or a temperature not exceeding 121 degrees Celsius. 6. High pressure boiler: refers to a boiler with a total steam pressure exceeding 1,055 kilograms per square centimeter, or a temperature exceeding 121 degrees Celsius.
Article 3
Scope of application. This Agreement applies only to the management of boilers of all types and levels in factories nationwide, as well as to all departments engaged in business activities related to the production, assembly, modification, or manufacturing of boilers.
