Articles
Article 1
Purpose. This agreement aims to establish the fundamental principles, regulations, and various measures necessary for the management and inspection of hazardous substances and hazardous chemicals, to prevent and ensure safety in the production (production steps, production processes, filling and packaging), trade (import, export, transportation, sale), storage, use, disposal, and handling of various hazardous substances and hazardous chemicals within the fields of industrial processing and handicrafts.
Article 2
Scope of Application. This Agreement applies to the management and inspection of business activities involving hazardous substances and hazardous chemicals and their circulation within the field of industrial processing and handicrafts; but does not include activities related to radioactive substances, radioactive waste, and nuclear energy (nuclear power).
