Articles
Article 1
Instruct the Department of Roads and Bridges, the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, the Institute of Public Works and Transport, the Provincial and Capital Departments of Public Works and Transport, and the District and Municipal Offices of Public Works and Transport nationwide to re-examine the standards applicable to all types of roads related to the protection of road reserves, as follows:
1.1. National roads: 25 meters from the road centerline on each side.
1.2. Provincial roads: 15 meters from the road centerline on each side.
1.3. District and municipal roads: 10 meters from the road centerline on each side.
1.4. Rural roads: 5 meters from the road centerline on each side.
1.5. Urban roads: In accordance with urban planning regulations.
1.6. Special-purpose roads: In accordance with the specific technical standards for each road.
Article 2
Assign the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning and the Institute of Public Works and Transport, in coordination with local administrative bodies of the capital, provinces, and municipalities/districts, as well as the Departments of Public Works and Transport of provinces/capitals and the Offices of Public Works and Transport of municipalities/districts, to study and adjust the planning layout and (re)construction of urban planning for residential settlements (or residential areas), ensuring that the construction of each household's house and drainage ditches within the village are not directly connected to the road. Instead, each village shall construct access branch roads to connect to the main road, and each household shall use the village's common access road to reach the main road; during village construction, it must be located outside the road reserve zone.
