Article 1
Article 1 (Amended) Purpose
This Law stipulates principles, regulations, and measures concerning the management, supervision, and inspection of work on women's development and protection, aiming to organize and implement such work efficiently and effectively. Its purpose is to enhance women's rights, promote women's knowledge, capabilities, and revolutionary moral qualities, achieve gender equality, eliminate all forms of discrimination against women, oppose and combat human trafficking and violence against women, ensure women's comprehensive development and protection of their legitimate rights and interests, create conditions for women to participate in various fields and become a vital force, enabling them to integrate with the region and the international community, and contribute to the defense and development of the nation.

Article 2 (New) Women's Development and Protection
Women's development and protection refers to the use of various forms, methods, and measures to ensure women's development in all aspects, promote their progress, protect women's legitimate rights and interests in accordance with the law, and enable them to receive assistance and consultation as stipulated by legal provisions.
