Article 1
Article 1 (Amendment) Legislative Purpose
This Law stipulates principles, regulations, and measures concerning litigation activities, so that the adjudication and resolution of lawsuits and applications in civil, commercial, family, child, labor, and other matters conform to objective facts, comply with the law, and reflect justice, aiming to safeguard the economic and social system, protect the ownership rights of the State, collectives, organizations, and enterprises, as well as the lawful rights and interests of parties, strengthen the rule of law, restrict and prevent illegal acts, educate and cultivate awareness of respecting and strictly enforcing the law, and contribute to national economic and social development.

Article 2 (Amendment) Civil Proceedings
Civil cases refer to disputes concerning relationships of a property nature, primarily involving ownership of items, currency, gold, and intellectual property, as well as certain personal relationships of a non-property nature, primarily involving names, surnames, and honor.
Civil proceedings refer to activities carried out by the court and participants in the proceedings in accordance with legal provisions to adjudicate and resolve lawsuits and applications in civil, commercial, family, child, and labor matters.
