Article 1 Label of Food Products and Food-Related Equipment for Infants and Young Children

Article 2 Scope of Application
This agreement applies to individuals, legal entities or organizations, both domestic and foreign, involved in the management, production, import and distribution of products and equipment related to food for infants and young children.

Article 3 Label of Food Products for Infants and Young Children
Food products for infants and young children produced, imported, and distributed in the Lao PDR must bear labels with names and content in the Lao language correctly in accordance with this agreement. The label components must include the following:
1. Name of the product;
2. Composition or ingredients of the food product;
3. Net weight or volume of the package;
4. Name and address of the food business establishment and contact details of the manufacturer or importer;
5. Production date and expiration date;
6. Registration number of the food product;
7. Instructions for use, storage, and warnings.
