Article 2 Policy on National Sports Teams
The policy on national sports teams is the implementation of policies regarding meal rates, accommodation, travel, labor subsidies, commendation and rewards, insurance, as well as other policies for activities during the preparation, participation, and post-competition periods for the national sports teams.

Article 2 Interpretation of Terms
The terms used in this Decree have the following meanings:
1. Team athlete means a sport played as a team, such as football, volleyball, basketball, rugby, baseball and other sports;
2. Individual athlete means a sport played individually, such as sepak takraw, swimming, athletics and other sports;
3. Sports journalist means a journalist who has knowledge of sports and has been authorized by relevant organizations to participate in gathering news on sports and physical education work;
4. Sports doctor means a doctor who has completed a course in sports medicine from domestic, regional and international institutions.

Article 4 Principles on Implementation of Policy towards National Sports Teams
The implementation of policy towards national sports teams shall follow the following principles:
1. Be in accordance with laws, regulations and the strategic plan for sports and physical education development;
2. Ensure equality, fairness, openness, transparency and verifiability;
3. Ensure coordination and cooperation with relevant sectors.
