Measurement of logs, sawn timber, bamboo, energy wood is the determination of various dimensions, length or height to calculate the volume of logs, sawn timber, bamboo and energy wood, using centimeters as the unit.
Classification of log quality is the determination of the type of logs that have been measured and collected various characteristics of logs to classify quality, which includes grades A, B, C and off-grade.

Article 2 Interpretation of Terms
The terms used in this agreement have the following meanings:

Article 3
1. Log means wood that has been cut from a felled tree, having a size of five spans and varying lengths, with a length of six meters or more and a diameter of eighteen centimeters or more;
2. Stump means the remaining part of the trunk that is attached to the root and includes the entire root system left after the trunk has been cut. In case the stump has no attached root system, it is considered a log; the length of the log attached to the stump shall not exceed one hundred thirty centimeters, starting from the highest root division point;
3. Burl means wood that grows abnormally naturally, having a shape of a knot or a lump attached to the trunk;
4. Energy wood means wood used as fuel.
