Article ມາດຕາ 1
Article 2 One District One Product
One District One Product, written internationally as “One District One Product”, written in Lao as “ໂອດອບ”, means a product that primarily uses local labor, wisdom, creativity, and local resources, which is unique to that locality, in production. It includes ODOP in the form of goods and ODOP in the form of services that have tradition, potential, and heritage, without limiting the number of product goods and services.

Article 2 Interpretation of Terms
The terms used in this Decree have the following meanings:
1. Outsourcing operator means an individual, legal entity or organization that invests in and conducts outsourcing in the form of goods and outsourcing in the form of services;
2. Productivity means the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and activities, measured by comparing the results achieved with the input factors in conducting outsourcing activities, such as labor, capital, raw materials and time.

Article 4 State Policy on ODOP Work
The State encourages and promotes ODOP work by formulating policies, establishing mechanisms, creating an environment and other facilities for the implementation of ODOP work in order to develop ODOP products to be diverse, strong, modern, in line with green and sustainable direction.
The State encourages and promotes individuals, legal entities and organizations, both public and private, to participate and contribute to the implementation of ODOP work.
The State promotes investment, upgrading, value addition, strengthening, innovation of ODOP products to move towards production of goods and services that are standardized, high quality, and able to move towards export.
