Article 1 Policy and Compensation Unit Price
Policy means the determination of conditions for payment of compensation to people affected by the mining project of Gavico Lao Mining Company Limited, which includes: labor costs for clearing paddy fields, labor costs for clearing garden land, structures, industrial timber, fruit trees, and perennial plants compensated in cash;
Compensation unit price means the calculation rate used as a basis for compensation to those affected by the mining project of Gavico Lao Mining Company Limited.

Article 4 State Policy
The State encourages and promotes all sectors, including individuals, legal entities, collectives and social organizations, to contribute to the management, protection and joint development of projects, such as: actively contributing labor, spirit, assets and other materials, in accordance with the policy guidelines and legal regulations that have been stipulated;
The State shall recognize the damages suffered on land that are lawful and in accordance with laws and regulations;
The State shall protect and guarantee the legitimate rights and interests of project owners and people affected by mineral exploration projects, in accordance with the law.

Article 3 Basic Principles
The policy and compensation rates for damages affected by the mining project of Kavikolao Mining Company Limited shall follow the following basic principles:
1. Correct and consistent with the state's guidelines, constitution, laws, regulations, national socio-economic development plan, and the provincial socio-economic development plan;
2. Coordination, consultation, participation of the people, state organizations, project implementers, and relevant parties;
