Article 2 Domestic Worker
Domestic worker means a person who works for a household employer and receives wages or remuneration in return, based on a labor contract, such as: cleaning, cooking, laundry, gardening, driving, house-sitting, pet care, as well as caring for children, the elderly, the sick, and persons with disabilities.

Article 2 Definition of Terms
The terms used in this agreement have the following meanings:
1. Domestic work means cleaning, cooking, laundry, gardening, driving, house-sitting, pet care, including care of children, elderly, sick and disabled persons, which is not related to work in production, business and service units of all economic-social sectors that have been registered according to legal regulations.
2. Domestic employer means the homeowner, family member or relative who employs a domestic worker to work for them, paying a monthly salary or wages as remuneration for the work;
3. Direct coercion by the domestic employer means using orders, threats or pressure to force the domestic worker to comply with their demands without the domestic worker's consent or willingness.
4. Indirect coercion by the domestic employer means using tricks, schemes or any form, or through another person, which the domestic worker is unaware of or aware of but unable to refuse.

This agreement applies to domestic employers, homeowners, family members, and domestic workers throughout the country.
