Article 1 Dispatch of Lao Workers for Seasonal Work in the Republic of Korea
The dispatch of Lao workers for seasonal work in the Republic of Korea is the process of permitting Lao workers who meet the criteria, fulfill the conditions, and have been selected to go for seasonal work in the cities and counties of the Republic of Korea that have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on seasonal employment with the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare of the Lao PDR.

Article 2 Principles on Dispatch and Management
The dispatch and management of Lao workers working seasonally in the Republic of Korea shall comply with the following principles:
1. Conformity with the policies, laws and regulations of the Lao PDR and the Republic of Korea;
2. Ensuring centralized and unified dispatch permission nationwide;
3. Protecting the rights and interests of workers lawfully on the basis of the laws and regulations of the Lao PDR and the Republic of Korea;
4. Monitoring and providing assistance to workers during the period of seasonal work in the Republic of Korea;
5. Ensuring the return of workers to the country after the expiration of the employment contract.

This agreement applies to individuals, legal entities, and organizations involved in the sending and management of Lao workers who work seasonally in the Republic of Korea.
