Article ມາດຕາ 1

Article 2 Port
Port means a designated place for all types of vessels to dock, and to provide passenger and cargo transport services.

Article 2 Interpretation of Terms
The terms used in this agreement are defined as follows:
1. Dangerous goods means goods containing radioactive substances, nuclear substances, and chemicals, with or without odor, that are hazardous to human health, life, animals, and plants;
2. Container means a place for storage and repair of containers;
3. Developer means a legal entity licensed to invest in port development in accordance with the Law on Investment Promotion and other relevant laws;
4. Business investor means a legal entity licensed to invest in any business within the port area in accordance with the Law on Investment Promotion and other relevant laws.

Article 4 Scope of Application
This agreement applies to individuals, legal entities, and organizations involved in port operations in the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
