1. National Committee for Solving Drug Problems
The National Committee for Solving Drug Problems, abbreviated as (ຄກສຊ), is a non-permanent organization, with the role of advising the government in directing, monitoring, inspecting, promoting, and coordinating with ministries, organizations, and relevant sectors in researching, formulating, and improving policies, strategies, laws, determining the direction of plans for implementing drug problem solving work, projects related to inspection, control, prevention and combating of drugs nationwide, and serving as a center for coordination with relevant sectors both domestically and internationally to propagate, mobilize, campaign, raise funds, materials, and technical expertise for drug problem solving work of the Lao PDR.
2. Provincial and Capital Committee for Solving Drug Problems
The Provincial and Capital Committee for Solving Drug Problems, abbreviated as (ຄກສ.ຂ), (ຄກສ.ນວ), is a non-permanent organization, with the role of advising the National Committee for Solving Drug Problems, the Governor of the province, and the Mayor of the capital in organizing the implementation of policies, strategies, laws, plans, programs, projects, and activities related to inspection, control, prevention and combating of drugs, and serving as a center for coordination with sectors and relevant parties to propagate, mobilize, campaign, raise funds, materials, and technical expertise for drug problem solving work within their responsibilities.
3. District, Municipality, and City Committee for Solving Drug Problems
The District, Municipality, and City Committee for Solving Drug Problems, abbreviated as (ຄກສ.ມ), (ຄກສ.ທ), (ຄກສ.ນ), is a non-permanent organization, with the role of advising the Provincial and Capital Committee for Solving Drug Problems, the District Chief, the Municipality Head, and the City Mayor in organizing the implementation of policies, strategies, laws, plans, programs, projects, and activities related to inspection, control, prevention and combating of drugs, and serving as a center for coordination with sectors and relevant parties to propagate, mobilize, campaign, raise funds, materials, and technical expertise for drug problem solving work within their responsibilities.

1. The National Committee for Solving Drug Problems has a secretariat as its assisting body, taking the Office of Inspection and Control of Narcotics of the General Department of Police, Ministry of Public Security as the secretariat office.
2. The Provincial, Capital Committee for Solving Drug Problems has a secretariat as its assisting body, taking the Division of Inspection and Control of Narcotics of the Police Department, Provincial/Capital Public Security Command as the secretariat office.
3. The District, Municipality, City Committee for Solving Drug Problems has a secretariat as its assisting body, taking the Unit of Inspection and Control of Narcotics of the Police Division, District/Municipality/City Public Security Command as the secretariat office.
