Article 2 Content of Goods Advertisement
The content of goods advertisement is the substance of goods advertisement from the industry and commerce sector, which must have accurate, clear, and complete information according to reality regarding the type, kind, characteristics, quality of goods, trademark, not advertise beyond reality, ensure that the advertisement does not have the nature of slandering and disparaging the goods of competitors.

Article 2 Interpretation of Terms
The terms used in this agreement are defined as follows:
1. "Goods" means objects used for consumption or use, including documents evidencing rights in objects;
2. "Outdoor advertising" means advertising through various types of billboards in public places, product launches, and services;
3. "Mass media advertising" means advertising through print media, electronic media, including media products such as newspapers, magazines, radio programs, television, internet, websites, and others;
4. "New media" means a type of advertising vehicle of electronic media that can communicate bidirectionally using modern communication technology to transmit information in text, image, and sound via internet networks such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, and others;
5. "Consumer" means an individual, legal entity, or organization that purchases and uses goods without commercial purposes.

Article 4 Scope of Application
This agreement applies to individuals, legal entities or organizations, both domestic and foreign, that advertise goods through various forms of advertising media in the Lao PDR.
This agreement certifies the content of advertising for consumer and household goods according to the Lao PDR's economic sector classification codes 45, 46 and 47.
This agreement does not cover advertising of food, medicine and medical products managed by the public health sector.
