Article 2 Implementation of Trade Inspection Work

Article 2 Interpretation of Terms
The terms used in this agreement have the following meanings:
1. Trade officials mean business competition officials, consumer protection officials and trade inspection officials appointed in accordance with laws and regulations;
2. Business competition and trade inspection personnel mean civil servants performing functions related to business competition, consumer protection, trade inspection and handling of trade violations under the sector of industry and commerce;
3. Source of information means obtaining information from individuals, legal entities or organizations regarding violations of laws and regulations on trade inspection work.

Article 4 Structure of Business Competition and Trade Inspection Personnel
The business competition and trade inspection personnel consist of three levels as follows:

1. Central level includes: Minister, Vice Minister in charge of business competition and trade inspection, Director General, Deputy Director General, and staff under the Department of Business Competition and Trade Inspection;

2. Provincial level includes: Director of the Provincial or Capital Department of Industry and Commerce, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Commerce in charge of business competition and trade inspection, and staff responsible for business competition and trade inspection;

3. District level includes: Head of the District or Municipality Office of Industry and Commerce, Deputy Head of the Office of Industry and Commerce in charge of business competition and trade inspection, and staff responsible for business competition and trade inspection.
