Article 2 Water Protection Zone and Water Resources
Water protection zone and water resources are areas reserved to protect the quality and quantity of water for consumption, use, flood prevention, drought prevention, conservation of aquatic flora and fauna, ecosystems, natural values, history, culture, tourism, education, research and scientific experimentation.

Article 2 Interpretation of Terms
The terms used in this agreement are defined as follows:

6. Ecosystem means the relationship between living and non-living things existing naturally;

7. Biodiversity means the diversity of ecosystem types and species of living things such as plants, animals, insects, and microorganisms within a certain natural area;

8. Boundary marker means a marker embedded at the corner points of the land boundary of a water protected area and water resources, serving as evidence and reference points for surveying, measuring, and mapping the land of the water protected area and water resources;

9. Tributary means a smaller branch of a main river, with a smaller catchment area and water volume.

Article 4 Policy of the Provincial Administration on the Delineation of Water Protection Zones and Water Resources
