Article 2 Policy towards persons with achievements in combating and preventing violations of laws and regulations
The policy towards persons with achievements in combating and preventing violations of laws and regulations is the state's encouragement and promotion towards persons with achievements in combating and preventing violations of laws and regulations concerning the state budget, through the implementation of policies on bonuses and special allowances, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Article 2 Interpretation of Terms
The terms used in this Decree have the following meanings:
1. "Bonus" means remuneration for inspection and audit agencies, inspection committees, audit committees, or special task forces that have achieved results in activities to combat and prevent violations of laws and regulations on the state budget;
2. "Special remuneration" means monetary compensation for individuals, legal entities, organizations, and other relevant parties that have achieved results in providing information, reporting, which can rectify violations of laws and regulations on the state budget;
3. "Meritorious person" means an individual, legal entity, or organization that has contributed to monitoring, inspecting, auditing, searching, and providing various information regarding violations of laws and related regulations, which can recover state obligations or assets;
4. "Inspection and audit agency" means the State Inspection Agency, the State Audit Agency, sectors, agencies, and local administrative organizations that conduct inspections and audits on violations of laws and regulations on the state budget.

Article 3 Scope of Application
This Decree applies to individuals, legal entities, and organizations that operate or are involved in the implementation of policies towards persons with achievements in combating and preventing violations of laws and regulations on the state budget in the Lao PDR.
