Article ມາດຕາ 1
Article 1 Certification of Contracts and Documents
Is the certification by the head of the court registry division or the head of the court registry unit regarding the factual and legal correctness of contracts and documents as determined by law or by the voluntary agreement of the contracting parties or the applicant for certification.

Article 2 Interpretation of Terms
The terms used in this agreement have the following meanings:
1. Court Registrar means the head of the court registry department and the head of the court registry unit, appointed in accordance with the regulations;
2. Contract means an agreement between parties that gives rise to, changes, or terminates civil rights and obligations;
3. Will means the expression of the intention of the owner of property to give his property to an individual, legal entity, or organization, made in writing or orally;
4. Certification means the recognition of the truth and legality of a contract and other documents by the court registrar through signing and stamping on such documents;
5. Applicant means an individual, legal entity, or organization that submits a contract or document to the court registry for certification;
6. Close relative means relatives of the husband and wife, including: father, mother, adoptive father, adoptive mother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandfather, grandmother, paternal grandfather, paternal grandmother, biological child, adopted child, stepchild, grandchild, elder brother, elder sister, younger brother, younger sister, uncle, aunt, uncle (younger), aunt (younger), son-in-law, and daughter-in-law;
7. Original document means the original or printed document with correct content and structure, bearing the signature or fingerprint of the individual, and the signature and seal of the issuing or promulgating organization, including documents that are engraved, drawn, photographed, or recorded correctly according to the content and structure of the original document;
8. Copy document means a document that is copied, printed, or photocopied from the original document, with content and structure that are correct and clear, identical to the original document;
9. Other documents means documents that are not contracts, such as: inheritance distribution records, company regulations, damage certificates, and others.

Article 3 State Policy
The State shall create favorable conditions for the operation of court registration work as appropriate, in order to enable such work to operate effectively, encourage and promote individuals, legal entities and organizations to bring contracts or documents specified in Articles 10 and 11 of this Agreement to register with the court to ensure accuracy in accordance with reality and law, aiming to protect their legitimate rights and interests.
