Article 2 Management of Highway Reserve Areas
Management of highway reserve areas means the management of the area boundaries of each type of highway as stipulated by the law on highways, including structures, components, parts of bridges and culverts, and highway safety protection facilities;
Highway reserve areas mean all areas of the highway on the ground, above ground, underground, above water flow, and below water flow that are reserved for the protection, development, and expansion of highways;
Highway land means the area boundaries of each type of highway reserved for highway activities, including sources of construction materials such as earth pits and rock quarries;
Management of highway land means surveying, marking the boundaries of highways and sources of construction materials as determined by relevant administrative authorities, for registration and recording as highway land, protecting such land effectively, ensuring no encroachment or use of highway land for other purposes.
