Article 4 The list of products requiring sanitary and phytosanitary conformity certification before export shall comply with the regulations of the destination country and the conventions to which the Lao PDR is a party.

Article 5 Revision of the List of Goods Requiring Certification of Conformity with Sanitary and Phytosanitary Regulations Before Import
Revision of the list of goods requiring certification of conformity with sanitary and phytosanitary regulations before import means adding or reducing the items specified in Article 3 of this agreement.
Each revision of the list of goods must be approved by the Minister of Industry and Commerce based on research and proposal of the relevant sectors.
After the revision of the list of goods is completed, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce must notify the relevant sectors for acknowledgment and implementation.
