Article 1
(Article 9: Welfare benefits for national defense reserve personnel) In accordance with Article 9 of the Law on National Defense Reserve Forces, national defense reserve personnel who are injured, disabled, or sacrificed in the line of duty shall receive welfare benefits in accordance with laws and regulations, and the procedures shall be as follows: 1.1. In the case of injury in the line of duty, treatment shall be provided at military hospitals, and the district or city military command shall submit the list of injured national defense reserve personnel to the provincial military command for study and allocation of funds for treatment expenses in accordance with military policies; 1.2. In the case of disability in the line of duty, care and support shall be provided in accordance with military policies (pursuant to Government Decree No. 272, dated September 16, 2015), and the district or city military command and the provincial or capital military command shall be primarily responsible for preparing relevant documents in accordance with regulations; 1.8. (i.e., 1.3.) In the case of sacrifice in the line of duty, various policies shall be enjoyed, such as: funeral expenses, sacrifice pensions, and appropriate care for the family, and the district or city military command and the provincial or capital military command shall be primarily responsible for preparing relevant documents in accordance with regulations. For the implementation of policies for national defense reserve personnel who become ill, disabled, or sacrificed due to the performance of duties, the provincial or capital military command shall be responsible for preparing documents in accordance with regulations, submitted through the Personnel Department of the General Staff of the Army to the Policy Department of the General Political Department of the Army for study, and then submitted to the Ministry of National Defense.
Article 2
(Article 13: Registration of Reserve Personnel and Technical Equipment) To ensure the registration of national defense reserve forces, the following procedures shall be implemented: 1. The Manpower Department of the General Staff of the People's Army shall submit a list of military personnel who have completed their active service or received a one-time allowance to the provincial and capital military commands in a single batch, which shall then be forwarded to the district, town, and city military commands for registration as Class I national defense reserve personnel; 2. The Cadre Department of the General Political Department of the People's Army shall annually submit a list of officers aged not exceeding 45 years who have received a one-time allowance to the Manpower Department of the General Staff of the People's Army; 3. Officers and soldiers specified in Clauses 1 and 2 who have received a one-time allowance or completed their active service shall report to the district, town, and city military commands and the village at their place of residence for registration; 4. Cadres and civil servants serving in ministries, state agencies at the ministerial level, provincial administrative agencies, and district administrative agencies shall be registered in the Class II national defense reserve force roster under their respective ministries or agencies. Those outside the aforementioned agencies shall be registered under the village at their place of residence, and the village shall compile and submit the list to the district military command for processing in accordance with procedures. The registration of reserve personnel and technical equipment shall be carried out in accordance with Annex 01.
